You should never ignore the airbag light when it appears on your Mercedes-Benz's dashboard. In case of an accident, the airbags are a vital safety feature that could save your life and that of your passengers. If you see your airbag light is on, it could be one of the following issues: Deployment Issues If you see the airbag light, it could be a sign of problems with the vehicle's Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). It means the airbags will not deploy in case of an accident. One or more of the airbags failing to open during a collision could be deadly.
